The Speedriding initiation course takes place on gentle slopes of approximate red level, but untreated.

Requirement

Have a consolidated average level of red slopes.

At the Cerler ski resort

Courses designed for participants to learn safely and progressively, without prior flying experience.

Programming

90% of the course focuses on doing exercises skiing with the speedriding glider without flying, allowing students to develop fundamental skills before progressing to more complex levels.

The progression is personalized, adapting to the level of the group or the individual.

We start from scratch, providing proper adaptation to the material and in the preparation of your equipment.

It is crucial that participants feel comfortable and competent in all the exercises proposed in level 1 or initiation before advancing to level 2 or progression.

This approach ensures that each student acquires the necessary foundation to fully enjoy Speedriding, guaranteeing an enriching and safe experience.

Goals

Speedriding practice independently in the starting area.

Correct use of the material

Selection of the terrain with respect to the aerological conditions.

Autonomy in takeoff and descent in the initiation zone.

Content

The course is developed on gentle slopes without obstacles.

Proper preparation of the material.

Selection of the descent zone according to aerology.

Descents in different types of turns.

Windward and leeward takeoffs.

Slope, kite or traction if the aerology gives us the correct aerology.

Low-altitude, long flights.

Soft pending practices

We will work on gentle diagonals to gradually find the maximum slope.

The technique is similar to skiing; we will work on large, medium, and short turns, adapting the sail to the desired curve.

Low flights

Flights in the beginner area are not an impediment to the course; we do not fly more than two meters high, but many meters long, according to the speed we are traveling at.

A pleasant first sensation with our skis, since we only need to glide for takeoff and landing.

Theoretical classes

We give the theoretical classes on-site in the practice area, taking advantage of the ascent of the ski lifts within the ski resort.

If we need to clarify any points, we will dedicate the end of the course hours to that.

Video correction

We tried to record most of your course, mainly in case we need to correct any gestures; it's better to see yourself from the outside.
