Our philosophy: free flight is not just paragliding

Paragliding comes in various forms that enrich the free flight experience, including traditional paragliding, speedfly, parakite, and speedriding.

Our methodology is renewed and updated, focusing on understanding each of these modalities. Although each discipline has unique characteristics, their connection allows students to develop broader knowledge and greater confidence in their practice.

The thin line that separates these modalities becomes a source of inspiration and a potential demand for athletes and flyers.

In the future, we anticipate an approach that not only encompasses the merging of these disciplines, but also includes the integration of other related sports, such as skydiving, kitesurfing, skiing, and mountaineering.

This synergy will expand the variations of free flight and enrich the ways of practicing it, thus fostering continuous growth in the flying community.

Our story

"Valle de Benasque, paragliding school", is the trade name that replaces "Speedriding.es".

Speedriding.es was born as a mini-sail company, although with a solid and extensive experience in paragliding.

Over time, customers are approaching us not only for Speedriding or Paragliding; the demand and practice of Speedfly or Parakite is a call for today's pilots.

Paragliding, a traditional sport, originated in Castejon de Sos and has always been linked to this place.

Currently, the other modalities are not exclusive to Castejon de Sos, since Speedriding is practiced in Cerler, and both Speedfly and Parakite can be done in countless spots that the mountains of the Benasque valley offer.

Likewise, we maintain our headquarters in Castejón de Sos and it is our starting point and learning center.

These are the reasons we chose our name, Benasque Valley: paragliding school, not only to be a showcase of the various modalities, but also to open up a valley full of possibilities for free and powered flight.

We are proud to feel that in Castejon de Sos we are a family in the free flight sector, and the bond created over the years is reflected in the current collaboration between school.

Castejon de Sos welcomes professionals from different paragliding schools, and maintains a level of teaching for which we are a benchmark in Spain.

Our contribution, Benasque Valley As pioneers of the different modalities in Spain, our aim is to introduce our methodology, which we hope will expand through other schools and make the sector stronger.

As pioneers of mini-gliding and parakiting in Spain, we have integrated the different modalities both in the school as a complement to paragliding, and for tandem flights.

Paragliding school:

We have created a methodological system to bring the different modalities closer to people who practice free flight and allow them to switch between them safely, enriching their knowledge and safety.

We extend the practice of free flight throughout the year.

Two-seater flights:

To enjoy free flight and its various forms, you don't need to be a practitioner. We offer different types of tandem flights, allowing people to try the activity without prior experience.

These flights are available year-round.

• Two-seater flights on foot, Two-seaters.
• Two-seater motorized flights, Paratrike.
• Tandem flights with skis and mini-gliders, Speedtandems (winter only).
