Our philosophy: free flight is not just paragliding

Paragliding comes in a variety of forms that enhance the free-flight experience, including traditional paragliding, speedfly, parakiting, and speedriding.

Our methodology has been updated and streamlined, focusing on understanding each of these modalities. Although each discipline has unique characteristics, their connection allows students to develop broader knowledge and greater confidence in their practices.

The fine line between these disciplines becomes a source of inspiration and a potential demand for athletes and flyers.

In the future, we anticipate an approach that not only encompasses the fusion of these disciplines, but also includes the integration of other related sports, such as skydiving, kitesurfing, skiing, and mountaineering.

This synergy will expand the variations of free flight and enrich the ways it is practiced, thus fostering continued growth in the flight community.

Our history

"Valle de Benasque, paragliding school" is the brand name replacing "Speedriding.es".

Speedriding.es was born as a mini-glider company, although with solid and extensive experience in paragliding.

Over time, clients are approaching us not only for Speedriding or Paragliding, but the demand and practice of Speedfly or Parakite is a calling for current pilots.

Paragliding, traditional, was born in Castejon de Sos, and has always been linked to this place,

Nowadays, the rest of the modalities are not exclusive to Castejon de Sos, since Speedriding is practiced in Cerler, and both Speedfly and Parakite can be practiced in countless corners of the mountains of the Benasque Valley.

Likewise, we maintain our headquarters in Castejón de Sos, and it is our starting and learning point.

With these reasons we reflect our name, Benasque Valley: paragliding school, not only to showcase the various modalities, but also to open up a valley full of possibilities for free and powered flight.

We're proud to feel that at Castejon de Sos, we're a family in the free flight sector, and the bond we've built over the years is reflected in the current collaboration between the schools.

Castejon de Sos welcomes professionals from various paragliding schools, maintaining a level of teaching that sets us apart in Spain.

Our contribution, Benasque Valley As pioneers of the different modalities in Spain, we want to introduce our methodology, which we hope will expand through other schools and make the sector stronger.

As pioneers of minigliding and parakiting in Spain, we have integrated the different modalities both in the school as a complement to paragliding, and for tandem flights.

Paragliding school:

We have created a methodological system to bring the different modalities closer to people who practice free flight, allowing them to switch between them safely, enriching their knowledge and safety.

We extend the practice of free flight throughout the year.

Two-seater flights:

You don't need to be a beginner to enjoy free flight and its modalities. We offer different types of tandem flights, so people can try the activity without any prior experience.

These flights are available year-round.

• Two-seater flights on foot, Two-seaters.
• Two-seater flights with motor, Paratrike.
• Tandem flights with skis and minigliders, Speedtandems (winter only).
