Recommended experience for taking a course with Moustache

For all those who are self-sufficient pilots, for takeoffs and landings, the Moustache course offers a solid foundation. During the summer, training is conducted on foot with the Moustache and Line equipment, while in winter, the option of skiing with Line will facilitate effective adaptation to the terrain.

The courses are conducted using Flare Moustache gliders, ideal for developing the skills needed to adapt to the d-power system. In the final phase of the course, you will have the opportunity to fly a 15-meter Line, specially designed for those with a more Speedfly-oriented flying style.

We offer comprehensive adaptation courses that include takeoffs, landings, maneuvers and turns, guaranteeing a safe transition between modalities.

Although the Moustache and Line systems are similar, Moustache gliders have a higher aspect ratio, while Line is optimized for higher speed and dive for proximity flights.

Programming

From the school slope to flights of 1000m as well as low flights, which are more difficult for this type of glider.

Goals

Practice parakiting safely during non-thermal hours and in light winds.

Content

The course is developed on gentle slopes without obstacles.

Proper preparation of the material.

Understanding the band system.

Descents in different types of turns.

Flights at maximum and minimum speed.

Soft pending practices

We will work on gentle slopes to gradually find the maximum slope.

The technique is similar to paragliding, but with different braking heights when using parakite bands.

Low flights

Slope training is important before the actual flight, where we must use the learned technique to be able to land autonomously if necessary.

High flights

We will work on large, medium and short turns, adapting the sail to the desired curve.

Theoretical classes

We give the theoretical classes on-site in the practice area, taking advantage of the ascent of the ski lifts within the ski resort.

If we need to clarify any points, we will dedicate the end of the course hours to that.

Video correction

We tried to record most of your course, mainly in case we need to correct any gestures; it's better to see yourself from the outside.
